During his exploitation, the Trois-Vernes quarry situated near Divajeu (Drôme, S-E. France) has revealed a glauconitic level containing a rich ammonite fauna from Lower Aptian. This fauna is described in this paper, it shows the quantitative prevalence of genera Macroscaphites (MEEK, 1832) (= Costidiscus UHLIG, 1883) and Procheloniceras SPATH, 1923. A new genus, Hohenegerriceras gen. nov. (type-species : Crioceras fallauxi UHLIG, 1883), and a new species, « Toxoceratoides » dietrichi sp. nov., are described. <...>

Many of us have collaborated in our research endeavors, and all of us have at some stage shared information and had many hearty discussions about the biology of our distant relatives.

В течение титона наблюдалась отчетливая тенденция к увеличению провинциализма у морских организмов, в том числе и у аммоноидей. Род Glochiceras - один из немногих, чьи представители, с одной стороны, широко расселились в пределах надобласти Тетис-Панталасса, а с другой стороны, встречались и в Бореальной надобласти.

До настоящего времени кимериджских ярус остаётся одним из самых неизученных ярусов юры Центральной России. Существуют разногласия как по поводу его границ, так и зонального расчленения, но в то же время почти все выводы основаны на изучении единственного разреза Городище (Ульяновский район Ульяновской области) - лектостратотипа волжского яруса.

Аптихи - кальцитово-органические или роговые образования, которые согласно наиболее распространенным представлениям являются частями челюстного аппарата аммоноидей. Поскольку однозначное соотнесение раковин аммонитов с определенными аптихами из-за редкости совместных находок и сильной гетерохронной гомеоморфии аптихов весьма проблематично, для их описания используется искусственная систематика. Тем не менее можно наметить взаимосвязь определенных родов аптихов с семействами, надсемействами и подотрядами аммонитов.
