This petroleum engineering book series includes works on all aspects of petroleum science and engineering, but with special focus on emerging trends and technologies that pertain to the paradigm shift in the petroleum engineering field. It deals with the increased exploitation of technically challenged and atypical hydrocarbon resources that are receiving a lot of attention from today’s petroleum industry, as well as the potential use of advanced nontraditional or nonconventional technologies such as nanotechnology in diverse petroleum engineering applications.
