Показана роль биогеохимических и других факторов в этиологии уровской Кашина-Бека болезни. Обсуж-дены вопросы невыясненных сторон биологических функций стронция в организме млекопитающих в условиях усиливающихся масштабов техно-генеза биосферы, а также нормативы содержания стронция в объектах окружающей среды.
