В результате целенаправленного изучения особенностей пространственного размещения,строения,геологического содержания и возраста стабилизации палеозойских офиолитовых структур Казахской складчатой области установлен межплитный характер их формирования, геологическое развитие которых происходили согласно положениям тектоники литосферных плит,проявленной, однако, в региональных масштабах.
Красной нитью этого тома является идея подставления различных методов исследования процессов, происходящих в реальных озёрах. Часть I посвящена подходам и техникам численного моделирования, приложенным к демонстрации отклика озера на ветровое воздействие. Она начинается с представления баротропных и бароклинных течений и распределений температуры воды, формирующихся в озере Цюрих в результате действия различных ветровых сценариев.

В коллективной монографии на основе анализа и обобщения всей совокупности имеющейся геолого-геофизической информации, накопленной за прошедшие пятьдесят лет, даются современные представления о глубинном строении земной коры Ладожской протерозойской структуры. Сопоставление глубины залегания поверхности Мохоровичича, регионального гравитационного и магнитного полей позволило сделать заключение, что основные тектонические структуры региона – Карельский кратон и Свекофеннский ороген – различаются по типу их корреляционной связи.
